For staff enrolled in the Indicana OOS SMS program, we collect the employee's mobile phone number and the content of inbound text messages reporting out-of-stock items, along with timestamps and automated reply content.

How We Use Information

Mobile phone numbers and message content are used only to operate the out-of-stock reporting program: logging reported items, notifying the relevant team, and sending automated confirmation, HELP, and STOP/START replies. We do not use this information for marketing or promotional purposes.

Information Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share employee phone numbers or message content with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties, regardless of consent, for any purpose.

We may use third-party service providers (such as Twilio for SMS delivery, and our hosting and database providers) solely to operate this program on our behalf. These providers are bound by their own privacy and data-protection obligations and do not use the data for their own purposes.

Data Retention

We retain phone numbers and message logs for as long as the employee is enrolled in the program and for a limited period afterward for recordkeeping and support purposes. Data is deleted upon request or when no longer needed.
